Apparel AQL Standards

According to the latest data of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT) in 2026, the average return rate of exported garments in China is as high as 8.7%, of which more than 90% originates from 12 types of basic quality defects that can be intercepted in advance. In this paper, we systematically sort out the most common 6 types of appearance defects, 4 types of process defects and 2 types of safety defects in the inspection of apparel, make clear the key points of determining various types of defects and the risk level, and provide the international standard table of AQL sampling determination, so as to provide professional quality control references for foreign trade enterprises.
